A run can include CarnotAI model inference plus the agent steps that set up and interpret it. Cost scales with the model you choose, sweep size and resolution, and whether the workflow is forward-only or inverse. The composer shows an estimate before you send; the charge on each message reflects what actually ran.

Every plan has a monthly credit allowance that refreshes at the start of each billing period. Paid plans can spend that allowance without extra throttling windows. On the free plan, short-term usage caps can apply in addition to your balance, so you may need to wait for a cap to reset even with credits left. Hitting either limit blocks new runs only — saved chats and results stay in your workspace.

Yes. You can upgrade at any time and the new allowance applies immediately. To downgrade or cancel, use the billing portal from your profile. You keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for.

No. Your balance refreshes to your plan's allowance at the start of each billing period, so unused credits do not carry over. If you regularly run out before the period ends, a larger plan will suit you better.
